Age is reckoned on 1 July 2026, superannuation at 62. Check your own case against the advertisement before applying.

One written paper — 120 MCQs in 2 hours for 360 marks: 30 general knowledge and 90 subject questions, 3 marks each. It is an offline OMR paper filled with a black ballpoint; whitener is not allowed. The interview carries 40 marks, so merit is out of 400. The paper is printed in Hindi and English both; language subjects appear only in their own language.
